On August 4th, GlobeCast will be on location in Nairobi, Kenya to provide broadcasters with facilities for coverage of the Referendum.

Kenyans will be asked ‘Do you approve the proposed new Constitution ?’

The referendum is part of the peace agreement which ended the post-election violence after the disputed presidential election in December 2007. If the document is passed, it could end a 20 year wait for a new constitution.

Facilities include a fully manned live position. Broadcasters to provide own playout machines. We will be on location at The Bomas where the counting will take place.
