Company Also Included in WTA’s ‘Global Top Ten’

Paris, 1 November 2006– GlobeCast - a leading global content management and delivery company and subsidiary of France Telecom (NYSE: FTE) – has been named as the top Independent Teleport Operator for 2006 by the World Teleport Association (WTA). The WTA has also included GlobeCast on its 2005 Top Ten list of Global Teleport operators, placing the company just behind Intelsat, SES and Eutelsat, making it the first non satellite operator on the list. This is the second year in a row that GlobeCast has been named top independent teleport operator.
