GlobeCast on the Croisette for the 63rd Cannes Festival

Paris, 13 May 2010 - GlobeCast will return to the Cannes International Film Festival this year from 12th to 23rd May to offer its contribution services to major French and international broadcasters. Just a stone’s throw from the prestigious steps of the Palais du Festival, GlobeCast will install its control room and play-out services in front of the harbour, where television journalists can make use of stand-up positions and take turns delivering live reports featuring the latest news from the festival.

GlobeCast will assist broadcasters by handling report broadcasts, playout and worldwide distribution using its international satellite and fibre network.

GlobeCast’s well versed technical team will be on hand to cover interviews from the lounges and patios of the villas along the Croisette where the stars of international cinema generally meet with members of the press. GlobeCast’s production and transmission equipment can also be reserved by a single client, if required. From Orange Cinéma Séries to LCI to Canal+, GlobeCast has become an indispensable partner of this international film event.
