On 1 September 2009, GlobeCast will provide broadcasters with a free-to-air satellite feed of “Open Libya’s” main celebration, a stage show to mark the 40th Anniversary of the Libyan Revolution and the 10th Anniversary of the African Union.

The extravaganza, which will take place in the capital’s Green Park and bring together hundreds of VIPs and up to 300,000 Libyans, will tell the story of Libya from ancient times, through the catalyst that was the revolution and up to the present day.
