Grays Inn Road becomes home to both transmission and Media Management services, including playout – using Pharos Mediator and Playtime

London, 1 August 2007– Content management and delivery company GlobeCast has opened its complete playout and Media Management centre at its existing facility in the heart of London, offering a full range of solutions to global broadcasters of all sizes. GlobeCast’s London office and technical hub is one of 18 GlobeCast locations providing worldwide delivery of permanent channels, coverage of news and sporting events and a host of value-added services.

At this major hub, GlobeCast selected Pharos Mediator and Playtime as the key technology to power its Media Management services. In so doing, the company has consolidated under one roof a range of services previously provided from various locations, creating a true broadcast centre for its clients.

GlobeCast also offers Media Management solutions from its facility in Sunrise, Florida which it shares with HBO Latin America. The company has just celebrated its 10th anniversary – in those ten years it has transitioned from being a satellite services company to a full service content management and delivery operation. Its new broadcast centres are just the latest example of the company’s increased capability.
