Mary Frost Appointed CEO of GlobeCast AmericaNew York, 3 August 2006– Mary Frost has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of GlobeCast America, the U.S. unit of Paris-based GlobeCast, a subsidiary of France Telecom, and a global provider of broadcast distribution and content management services, according to Christian Pinon, GlobeCast Global Chairman. Frost oversees GlobeCast’s strategy and operations in North and Latin America, based between the company’s sales and marketing offices in Washington D.C. and New York. Mary Frost joined GlobeCast in 2003 as Sr. Vice President, Sales, and was later named Chief Commercial Officer. Her more than 25-year career in media, entertainment and communications includes key positions as Managing Director at Price WaterhouseCoopers’ Entertainment, Media and Communications practice; Vice President of Network Broadcast Operations and Engineering for Disney and ABC, managing news and technology operations during 11 years at the network in New York; General Manager of ICO Global Communications in America; as well as CEO and President of two interactive and digital asset management ventures. In 2002, Frost received the North American Broadcasters Association’s International Achievement Award honoring individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievement and commitment to the goals of the North American broadcasting community. She is past President of the North American Broadcasters Association and founding chair of the ISOG, an active member of the International Council, and National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences board, as well as several on non-profit boards.
