The summit marking the 60th anniversary of Nato will take place in Germany (Baden-Baden and Kehl) and France (Strasbourg) from the 2nd to 4th April.

The president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, and the Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, will host the meetings. Heads of state and other leaders from the 25 member countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation are due to attend.
