The annual meeting of the World Social Forum (WSF) will take place in the Brazilian city of Belem, located in the Amazon rain forest, from 27 January to 1st February 2009.
Planned to coincide with the World Economic Forum in Davos, it brings together anti-globalisation activists from movements around the world in a critical reflection on justice, peace and human rights.
