We are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Development and Integration Team Lead to join our team in order to enhance our services and promote growth.

Job Overview:

As a Broadcast Integration Architect, you’ll be responsible for leading the integration of third-party software solutions with our clients’ existing systems, implementing automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency, and employing DevOps and Agile methodologies in our workflow. This role requires a deep understanding of broadcast technologies, systems integration, automation capabilities, and a thorough grasp of DevOps and Agile principles.

Responsibilities:

  1. Architect robust and scalable software integration solutions between partners’ SaaS platforms and customers’ in-house systems. These integrations may include the transfer and transformation of metadata such as linear schedule/traffic data, the movement of binary data such as file-based video content and automation/control of broadcast systems.
  2. Collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, and vendors to gather requirements, understand goals/scope, troubleshoot issues, and feedback on costs and timelines of software solutions.
  3. Lead and manage the implementation process, coordinating with third-party software development resources to meet project objectives.
  4. Design and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency within the broadcast environment using software automation.
  5. Ensure projects are delivered utilizing DevOps and Agile methodologies to promote continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), encourage collaboration, and speed up problem-solving processes.
  6. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architectures, procedures, and manuals.
  7. Stay updated with the latest trends in broadcast technology, systems integration, automation, and DevOps/Agile methodologies.
  8. Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and complies with company policies and regulations.

 

 

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in a team lead or management role
  3. Extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and databases, as outlined in the position overview.
  4. Strong understanding of container-based microservice development, architectures, and deployments.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design and implement innovative solutions.
  6. Familiarity with broadcast industry standards and protocols, such as SMPTE, DVB, and MPEG, is a plus.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with clients.
  8. Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and industry events.
