We are now seeking a highly skilled Project Manager / Product Owner to work on a number of significant projects in close coordination with important technology partners in order to enhance our services and promote growth.

Job Overview:

With a focus on leveraging close ties with technical vendors, the Project Manager / Product Owner will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of new services. To assure the delivery of high-quality, economically viable solutions that exceed customer expectations, this role necessitates tight cooperation with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the teams for ‘Think’ and ‘Build’ of opportunities, demos, workshops proposals and projects.
   1. Preparation and submission of proposals for multiple opportunities, ensuring they are timely, accurate, and meet the customer’s needs.
   2. Planning, design, and implementation of new services from acceptance of a proposal to 24×7 operation.
2. Work with the global team to collaborate on projects, share workload and resources and ensure proposals, designs, budgets are cohesive and consistent.
3. Manage scope, timelines, global resources, risks and budgets.
4. Troubleshoot issues effectively, escalating when necessary, and ensuring resolution in a timely manner
5. Facilitate effective, transparent and continuous communication among team members, partners, customers and other stakeholders
6. Alongside sales account managers be a central point of contact and escalation for both customers and partners to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
7. Manage and deepen relationships with partners, ensuring our combined solutions are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with our capabilities.
8. Evaluate the success of each project, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement in our RFP responses and project delivery.
9. Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in broadcast technologies and systems integration.

Requirements:

1. A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a closely related discipline, or the equivalent in experience.
2. A minimum of five years’ experience working as a project manager, product owner or similar lead role, ideally in the media, technology, or broadcasting sectors.
3. Demonstrated expertise in managing vendor relationships with an emphasis on utilising vendor expertise to successfully complete projects.
4. Good understanding of broadcast solutions; playout, encoding, transmission, and distribution solutions, as well as non-linear broadcast services.
5. Excellent organisational, planning, and project management skills with the capacity to oversee many projects concurrently in a time-constrained setting.
6. Effective interpersonal and communication abilities that enable collaboration with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
7. Knowledge of common tools and processes for project management, such as Agile

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of virtualized and cloud-based broadcast solutions.
2. Knowledge of broadcast technologies and systems, including MPEG, DVB, ATSC, SDI, IP, ASI, ABR, HLS, and DASH.
3. Certification in project management (such as PMP or PRINCE2).
